La canadiense repite en el nº 1 de álbumes con The best damn thing y los californianos protagonizan una vertiginosa subida a lo más alto de la lista de singles con Makes me wonder. Maroon 5 desbanca del nº 1 precisamente a Avril Lavigne.

Avril Lavigne aguanta por segunda semana consecutiva el nº 1 de la lista Billboard de álbumes. Su principal rival en esta ocasión ha sido el cantante de R&B Joe, que se ha colocado en el nº 2 con su disco Ain’t nothing like me.

La otra novedad más destacada de la semana ha sido la entrada a un meritorio nº 7 de Arctic Monkeys y su Favourite worst nightmare. El resto del top 10 lo ocupan, entre otros, los últimos trabajos de Nine Inch Nails, Akon o Carrie Underwood.

En cuanto a la lista de singles, el nuevo nº 1 es para Makes me wonder de Maroon 5, que experimenta una subida de vértigo desde el nº 64. De este modo, Adam Levine y compañía superan la marca lograda por los dos grandes éxitos de su anterior trabajo (tanto This love como She will be loved se quedaron en el nº 5) y se preparan de cara a la edición de su esperado segundo disco, It won’t be soon befote long, que llegará el 22 de mayo.
